Climatologists warn us that this has been the hottest summer ever recorded on Earth with more frequent and more intense natural disasters impacting Canadian communities, but this is likely to be the new normal for the rest of our lives. At the same time, investment in clean energy is booming, clean tech is growing exponentially, breakthroughs in battery storage and other technologies are opening new energy horizons, helping to drive jobs and growth for decades. We all have a stake in getting climate policy right, but is it even possible in the modern world of communication echo chambers and misinformation?
