Alastair Mullin

Alastair is public affairs executive with a passion for storytelling. Fluently bilingual, he leads government relations for Carleton University where he is focused building strategic relationships with the public sector that drive research and community engagement.
He also serves as a digital strategist at Quinn Public Affairs, building on his experience with an international public affairs agency where he built a successful public affairs practice in communications and reputation management.
Alastair also served as the Director of Communications at the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, an analyst on the TMX Pipeline Task Team at Natural Resources Canada and a team leader at ESDC developing a digital identity agreement with the Province of British Columbia.
Outside of work, Alastair produced a spoken word series and an Ottawa Fringe Festival show. He remains an avid runner and photographer.
