The Canadian Club of Ottawa is thrilled to introduce Jennifer Cross as our new 2024-2025 President!
At the AGM held on Friday, May 31, 2024, the Board of the Canadian Club of Ottawa appointed Jennifer Cross as President for 2024-2025.
As the Business Development Manager for MARANT Construction in the Nation’s Capital, Jennifer is a dedicated city builder and is passionate about being part of the growth and development of Ottawa's downtown core. Her extensive experience in building inspired relationships in both the private and public sectors has significantly shaped the future of our community and the built environment.
Throughout her career, Jennifer has been recognized with numerous industry accolades and awards, including the prestigious Ottawa Chamber of Commerce’s 40 Under 40 award, recognition on the Ottawa Business Journal’s Top 10 Fastest Growing Companies List, and as a Top Finalist for the Women’s Business Network’s Businesswoman of the Year. Jennifer is deeply committed to proactively creating a vibrant community. She sits on The Ottawa Business Journal Advisory Board, participates in many construction industry committees, spearheads fundraising events for the Ottawa Cancer Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, and the Ottawa Mission, and is a founding member of the Ottawa Board of Trade’s Women, Wine & Wisdom quarterly event series and Co-Founder of City BuildHERS.
“It is such an honour to be given this privilege to help shape the future of the Club,” says Jennifer. “Informed, engaged, and inspired dialogue is essential to positively impacting our community and stimulating future growth and we need that now more than ever.”
"A heartfelt thank you to Geoff Turner for his exemplary leadership during the Club’s first in-person season post-COVID and its historic 120th season,” she added. Geoff will continue to serve as Past President.
